I've seen BSC players crying on the field after getting ripped by their coaches with language I consider to be way over the line.  Is that sufficient for your definition of verbal abuse you clown?  [/quote]

I've never seen kids crying on either of my kids' teams, in multiple sports. They both are high level.  I see parents more upset sometimes about things than the players and even that is rare.
