My guess is the VA parents have a solid idea of who will make which team from Pride, Stars, VA Metro and YJ. I have no doubt there is real talent from other lesser regarded teams that I hope Cap would give a solid look at it even if they did not do all the politicking. [/quote]

Exactly.  They are looking for athletes that could plausibly be recruited in a few years by D1 programs.  There are a few (handful+) athletes on MD teams, Pride, and Stars that fit the bill.  Then there are the other matches that will come out of the woodwork.  Flashy stick skills is not going to cut it.  That stuff can be taught to good athletes.  [/quote]
