Right now Penelope nn Penny is at the top of our list (after an old family friend of mine who was like a grandmother to me when I was a girl). It feels like a good mix since Penelope is more formal and could be used professionally later in life but Penny feels bright and unassuming to us, the opposite of pretentious.
