Ok.NP, but I read all 33 pages. The peanut butter-cheese-tortilla thing is delicious. I've been eating it for years. But, NO HEAT. That was the mistake. You use a room-temp, flour tortilla. (No corn.) A chunk of thick-sliced, very sharp cheddar. And a glob of real peanut butter (not the kind that's half oil). And here's a twist - also good if you substitute tortilla for American bread or apples (apple-peanut butter-cheese). And sushi is gross. Yes, even California rolls. Yes, even the kind without seaweed. It's disgusting. All of it.
When you say real pb, not half oil... do you mean to use traditional Jif/Skippy (which texturally isn’t oily) or to use natural pb (which separates and appears oily?
PP here. Yes. Some peanut butters (Jif and Skippy) are whipped with hydrogenated oils. You don't need to get organic or anything, but the kind with oil tend to have less peanut content. You want at least 90% peanuts and no added sugar. Not for health reasons or whatever, but because the peanut flavor needs to be strong enough to balance the sharp cheddar. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2016/06/natural-peanut-butter/488237/
