Has VDA 06 and FCV played against each other? Some VDA parents think FCV is a better team based on late marketing. As a former VDA parent I bet current parents of any age group are tired of their kids being treated as if they were in a pro or national team. Players are mistreated as if they had a contract and only a few ones get glory. Get this, parents are paying your salaries, if you selected some kids to be part of the team all them should be able to develop equally. The question is does FCV care for its players or they are more focused on online propaganda?
Go back to VDA you won’t be disappointed. They aren’t going down hill. Under this new administration they will be the best around for development.
Look. FCV has a ton of problems but telling people that anything run by MW is going to "develop" players is laughable.
I disagree. The kids he brought up are great soccer players, period! All of them, even the ones that didn’t get as much playing time as the top 11. There is something to be said for working hard for the minutes you earn. I understand that everyone thinks that things should be fair but sports in general aren’t meant to be “fair” or everyone would be running Rec teams. There is always a top and bottom, but don’t be confused to think that those kids weren’t developed. Those kids at BRYC on that 02 and 03 team can go on any other team and be starting 11. Almost all of those kids will get a D1 opportunity. You can say what you want about MW but he knows soccer and he knows how to develop and make athletes work hard for what they get. There is not one coach out here that everyone loves. MW will change things at VDa that need to be changed.
