Everyone should be concerned that social media and the cancel culture apparently dictates who gets crucified by the court.

A. Lori's crimes involve far more money and more charges.

B. Felicity's 2 week sentence was precisely because she pleaded GUILTY. That's how the court system works. Admit your guilt and get sentenced to lesser penalties. Lori refused to cop a plea so no she doesn't get what Felicity did.

At this point with 3 separate charges against her there is zero possibility a jury or judge will find her not guilty on all three. She's looking at least 1 year's sentence at minimum thanks to her grandstanding and as much as 60 years if something damning comes out.[/quote]

I think this plays a part as well...Fleicity's kids seemed genuinely unaware of this; they hesitated to do anything with the second because she was so earnest they thought she might notice or would want to re-test. Lori and her girls? They were all in. And they are adults who could also be co-conspirators. Lori is going to have to take more of a hit if she wants to protect her girls. The mother who was taped calling her son an idiot who would never know? Her kid is probably fine. [/quote]
