Every liberal supports affirmative action until their kid loses a spot to a diversity candidate.
I really have to laugh at the white liberals sending their kids to social justice warrior private schools and then senior year wondering why all the top 25 colleges mainly took minorities and minority athletes from their school—not the SjW white and Jewish kids, who’d probably have been better off applying from a suburban school without subsidized diversity.
We are affluent parents with impressive academic and professional credentials. We sought out diverse public schools for our kids. And we are ok if our kids don’t go to top 10 schools like we did because those schools are now pushing for diversity. Our kids will be fine.
Great for you, but speak for yourself. Not every white kid will be fine, nor should they have to sacrifice anything for someone they don’t know.
We all make sacrifices. Some groups were forced to make sacrifices for centuries. These kids will be fine.
How do you know? Do you know all of them?
In the meantime, nobody wants to talk about open blatant racial discrimination against asian americans in favor of other minority groups despite the fact asian americans are a minority group as well with virtually no political power. Asian Americans are literally ignored and marginalized (look at Yang polling 6th nationally but ignored and excluded by the media as 15th in media coverage). Why is it a smaller minority group with language problem, lack of political power, and openly discriminated against in college admissions/jobs doing relatively well economically compared to Hispanics/blacks? This is what the liberals don't want to discuss because there is no good answer except Asian Americans work their asses off whether in schools or at work often putting in efforts double/triple what other "preferred" minorities put in or the privileged whites put in. Ridiculous.
Word
Read in Dave Chapelle's voice.
