I think you're pouring way too much energy in responding for someone who's not invested. If you find the previous post tiresome, move on. Of course this is the poster who had to come on an anonymous forum to declare that they're from Caltech/MIT. The line is between lesser and greater is not arbitrary. It's based on the academic rigor of the school, which is built on the quality of their programs and teaching.
So says the poster who had to come on an anonymous forum to declare they have two separate HYP degrees. Which of course are better than degrees from lesser Ivies.
Dear Imbecile, If you had read all the posts, you would have read one which argued that no poster who attended an Ivy would rank some as lesser or greater. I mentioned my two Ivy degrees to contest that claim. I did not claim my degrees were better. However, I do believe the educational quality and opportunities were greater at both my Ivies than, say, U Penn or Cornell. Objective raters agree. Saying there are no differences among schools, including the Ivies, is part of the everyone gets a trophy mentality that is destroying this country.
You're the sort of person who's life is a tremendous disappointment so you cling to whatever credential you can. #pathetic
Precisely the opposite. I do like needling people who are invested in their credentials though. Why do you care what someone on an anonymous forum thinks about your or others’ degree?
NP here. But you are the only one who seems to be invested in your own credentials. You came on here to proclaim how you have two HYP degrees and how there is some clear difference between those schools and other in your opinion lesser Ivies. And then you try to pass that off as needling others who are invested in their credentials. All of these prior posters you've been ridiculing as imbeciles, etc. have it right - you're apparently insecure and obsessed with proving your own credentials. I mean, good for you that you have two degrees from top-notch Ivies, yes you must be smart and all, but come on, let's get over yourself, bud.
+1. HYP guy is a real piece of work.
