MLS already made a "smart" business decision to implement MLS2 mostly to take over anything ECNL and other lesser leagues have gained. Over time MLS will continue to gain more and more of the boys market. Eventually ECNL will be known as a girls league only even more than it already is. Nope, both age groups will have MLS as their first choice and ECNL as a distant second. At least that's what I see from all the different players and clubs.
