I read several in-depth articles on this and you’re both wrong. He very much had a digital footprint, which was analyzed by the FBI and other agencies. Some of his searches were done through a service that obscured his identity, but not all. He was much more secretive in the last year of his life as his mental health deteriorated.

Apparently Trump was briefed and said he was satisfied with the findings of the investigation of the shooting.

Trump told Fox News he’s been briefed by “multiple agencies,” and although he acknowledges the Secret Service breakdowns, he still has the upmost respect and trust in his agents.
