Hero’s hosted a Prospect Clinic last year (as well as the one for the 24s) and an Advanced Lacrosse Clinic at Maryvale the year before which it advertised for “prospective 5th-8th graders.” Players attend these to get noticed. Nothing wrong with Hero’s doing it, nothing wrong with Capital doing it. [/quote]

My DD went to this event.  It was mostly attended by Heros girls.  Some girls from other clubs as well.  Maryvale staff and players organized the event.  Maryvale was trying to attract prospects to their lacrosse program.[/quote]

Can’t believe you haven’t used that melon of yours to gather by now that 1) I’m not a 28 parent and 2) there are multiple people posting here. PLEASE be better. Back to it - we haven’t heard an excuse yet for why Hero’s has put on multiple Prospect Clinics (as recently as last year) when the claim is that the club doesn’t stoop to this level.
