It's funny, I thought the actress was actually really good and the role reasonably well-written in parts. But at the same time, I also thought it really didn't "work." I did not buy--or even really understand--Sophie's connection to Benedict--or even to the larger Bridgerton family. So I sort of liked the character but it was like she was cut-and-paste out of a different story and plunked down in an awkward, unworkable Cinderella-Benedict character arc.[/quote]

DP  I do not think Sophie is beautiful. I do think she is attractive, but beautiful is not how I would describe her. I would describe the actress who played the kind-hearted stepsister as beautiful. Kate is beautiful [/quote]
