She’s not an immigrant. An immigrant is someone that comes here with documents to stay for good. A green card holder is an immigrant. An US national (someone that wasn’t born here but gained U.S. citizenship) is an immigrant.
She was here on a work visa. She’s merely a visitor, who wasn’t able to respect the laws of this or any country in the world and killed someone.

To a certain extent, her being “released” and sent back to Brazil may make sense to the judicial system. 
She will not be an expense and if she’s sent back to her country, with 0 possibility of coming back, she’s no longer a threat to the American people. They want the American… BB.

I don’t think that would be right, specially through JR and CB’s family. If they were my family, I would like to see her rot in jail…. But that’s not how it works.[/quote]

An immigrant by definition is a person living in a country other than that of his or her birth, she was living here. They did not say she was a resident alien, which is different.[/quote]
