Do you have binge eating disorder? I do, and my binging isn't like this at ALL. It is very neat, I have a certain place the food goes, wrappers are cleared away before another one is opened, etc. Binging isn't always shoveling food in fast, but rather eating a larger than normal amount in a shorter than normal period. It could be 6 bagels in 3 hours... way more than normal, but no one would see the binge if they walked in to the one on the table.

My binge eating is likely partially a control issue, my desire to have control over things and my surroundings and to soothe myself when things feel chaotic. I go to almost a Zen state when I binge because it is numbing me out.[/quote]
