There are 11 kids within *walking distance* of Op's home - how hard could it be for Op's daughter to know at least the street that one of them lives on?
No, there's at least 1 that lives in walking distance. I don't know about anyone else, but the last day of school when I was in middle school, we all went to someone's house as a group... and some of the kids were normally bussed and others lived in other neighborhoods. So she has to figure out which 1+ kid(s) lives in her neighborhood, and her daughter may not remember the face for that kid if they were at the back of the pack.
11 kids all coming from different neighborhoods usually (but not always) means - Club, Team. Look in the yearbook and see what club/team these kids are all on.
or google a first name, school name, and team sport. Something is bound to pop up on facebook, instagram, or twitter. OP has refused to make such an effort. She's too busy being helpless and outraged.
How did you reach the conclusion that I haven't been making an effort? When I offer details, you guys accuse me of "embellishing."
Prediction: you and your daughter are off to the world's worst summer vacation EVER. You are dwelling on a nonevent that you can not change and won't mean a hill of beans by the end of the summer (or even the end of this week) unless you INSIST on turning this mole hill into a big old mountain. Serious question - Do you have anxiety, Op? Do you honestly think that this particular boy is a threat to your daughter? My guess is that he has forgotten about the whole thing and couldn't pick your DD out of a line up. Which is good because he sounds like a bit of a jerk and not something that I would want my kid around.
