It's funny, I thought the actress was actually really good and the role reasonably well-written in parts. But at the same time, I also thought it really didn't "work." I did not buy--or even really understand--Sophie's connection to Benedict--or even to the larger Bridgerton family. So I sort of liked the character but it was like she was cut-and-paste out of a different story and plunked down in an awkward, unworkable Cinderella-Benedict character arc.[/quote]

She could not carry the role which was already super bland and consisted of her whining “I’m a maid” again and again. She looked like a maid; she wasn’t pretty enough to capture BB in ONE SCENE.

Aramita however and her daughters were perfectly cast. Aramita is beautiful and her face played the scenes very well. Loved Rosamund and posy also; beautiful and great actresses.[/quote]
