I get Sophia falling for Benedict because he was so darn nice to her and she hasn’t had that since her dad died.  I was never a huge Benedict fan but liked him a lot this season.  But the part where he was like “oh yeah, by the way, I’ve slept with a ton of people including a bunch of men” and that didn’t make her miss a beat….that didn’t make any sense and seemed like a missed opportunity.  Maybe if the season had fewer side plots they would have had time to make that into a plot point — that she backs off when she realizes his background but then they somehow overcome that.  Maybe because she realizes her best friend is gay so it seems more normal.  Seems totally incongruous that she’s shocked by th idea of being a mistress but the idea of promiscuous polyamory is like “well, all love is good…”.  Not reconciling that seemed like lazy writing.
