I live in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County and just drove down Rt. 1 - a major road. There were several places where part of the lane disappeared, so all four lanes are not fully plowed. Add to that, people are walking on Rt. 1. Many residents rely on the bus and walk and you can't get near the sidewalks. [/quote]
