There are Academic clubs (Mathcounts, Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, Japanese Club, etc...), sports (basketball, volleyball, cross country, track and field, futsol), and fun clubs (baking club, book clubs, D&D, board games, Magic the Gathering, and the like). It is an impressive list and there are lots of kids who participate. Maybe it works because there are parent volunteers that run many of the clubs, with oversight from the coordinator. [/quote]
