The parts that read said he was denied asylum because he didn't apply in time. Given that he was a kid escaping death threats, you're hardly winning the argument here. The other part I read did not say that the judge deemed he was a danger \but rather that he had "not proven he was not a danger". This is totally different in a court of law and is more about the burden of proof. It implies that the individual has failed to present enough convincing evidence to satisfy the judge that they do not pose a danger. It doesn't mean the judge is convinced they are a danger, just that the individual hasn't met their burden to show otherwise. There might be insufficient evidence either way. [/quote]
