Clearly, Israel's rapid creation of border buffer zones suggest it has no faith that the new regime can be counted on to exercise restraint if it comes into possession of the old regime's mustard gas and sarin supplies, not to mention its warships and other conventional weapons. All three of those peer countries are also racist, expansionist, authoritarian regimes that commit daily human rights violations and other atrocities.  Two of the three are even global pariahs. BUT anyone the tiniest bit informed about Syria right now sees that attempts to monopolize the discussion and make it all about Israel, while ignoring the other 3 nations and many insurgent groups involved, means you are biased against Israel. If anything it actually clarifies what criticism of Israel is often motivated by. [/quote]
