I actually know a man who went bananas in his 40s, blew up his family, shacked up with a twenty something for a few years and then dated a bunch of fun gals for a decade or so…until finally coming back to the mother of his children. It was a process that took years, starting with continued separate living but more robust family life. They ultimately got back together after reconnecting as empty nesters and the ex-wife determining she still wanted him. I wonder if the same might happen someday with Ben and Garner? [/quote]
