They were all in on it, except Bob. Bob was probably generous, funded things here and there. Husband probably has a life elsewhere/gay. Husband is in it for the ride and the beard his wife gives him. He cant ut himself at home in Iran. Sister is nothing more than a call girl in the city, brother goes along to ensure the guy doesn't get outrageous. Bob was gullible. Brother/sister/Husband thought they could turn a john situation into a permanent gig. Nope, Bob didn't want that. He gets killed in a fit of rage. Bob might have called her a few names.
This all seems plausible to me, husband seemed gay as a goose in that picnic photo. Seemed not at all fussed at his wife's adultery. Bob thought Nima wanted words of reassurance re: his sister's virtue nope, wanted $$$$$$$. Dating men on apps while married = no virtue to defend. They had been stringing him along for years but he was slipping away, had moved, was about to fly out, etc. She might have dated wealthy men from apps but not with $ like Lee had. Nima was likely extremely jealous of his career and $ as well, and a heavy drinker. Lee also had a rep of being the last to leave a party and joked on IG about his daughter having "steadier hands." Boredom, drinking, with a lot of intense feelings under the surface and Bob kind of oblivious and thinking it was just socializing. He probably had nice things to say about her, he had introduced her to friend years ago, unless Witness 1 was to be another client? They tried a squeeze play and he declined, not realizing the stakes or volatility. Maybe Lee knew there were other men? That fact undercuts the entire narrative and even if the 3 try to stick to it, game over. That 2019 guy is the KEY. He had to be struck by the brazen hypocrisy of their story, likely why he came forward. They MEANT for Witness 1 to hear their script, recount it and possibly also press Lee to white knight for her. But it was all utterly fabricated, like Nima's academic credentials and likely resume. But for the doctor's wealth and her glamourous looks is an utter trash tale. No achievements by her or her brother that are documented. Just trying to trade on her appearance but pressure was on as she aged.
