Doctor came from family of doctors. How did he end up in this seamy, sordid lifestyle? Wife "dating" wealthy men on apps, in the marital home? He has not cut contact with wife & brother. If it was not about blackmail does someone have other theories as to why she would not meet men in hotels, just in her husband's home? Or maybe it was some fetish thing for him? But seems like the couple and Nima were living well beyond a doctor's salary so likely had to do with $$$ somehow. Between this thread and the Richmond one and the Herndon one, starting to realize that what can look like a Great Gatsby knockoff lifestyle or something wholesome on social media can have VERY dark underpinings.
They were meeting in Millenium tower — K owned a unit there, I never have seen that it was owned by Doc too. Maybe her own city place and their marital home elsewhere?
I have seen it described as owned by the doctor and his wife in the media. They also own property elsewhere. Had her dates been new news to him he likely would have distanced from her and her murderous brother. Yet, thick as thieves, flashing hand signs to one another in solidarity. We've seen Nami's rage, where is the doctor's anger at his wife dating multiple men? I'm guessing they did not anticipate 2019 guy coming forward, undercuts it all. I have a feeling this all has to do with how the lifestyles are funded. Nami's apartment was also millions, and he also had a BMW. One doctor is not generating that much $ even at $18k per nose job. They had a warrant about knives, they should get one for electronics and search for cameras and recording devices too, imho. Lee is almost a bit player now with these latest twists and turns. So sad that he lost his life.
I think Nami passed himself off to everyone as some tech exec, so that's probably where a lot of his family thought he got his money.
