That guy for the TJ Alumni Action Group is so repugnant.  Imagine thinking it's OK to tell Asian kids that they no longer deserve to be admitted to TJ or any other school on the merits because they are "over-represented" as a group.  What happened to respecting the rights of individuals, rather than making every decision based on class and race?

As for Scott Surovell, what a putz.  He and Karen Corbett Sanders are both unprincipled, pork-barrel politicians. All that matters to them is being able to brag that more kids from their districts got into TJ, regardless of whether they were the most qualified.  And the cowards like Stella Pekarsky, Elaine Tholen, and Melanie Meren just stand by idly and let themselves get steamrolled.

It's beyond time that we recognize these people for who they are, and what they've done to FCPS, and kick them out of office! [/quote]
