So your answer is for the USA to follow the lead and standards of the third world? That doesn’t make any sense at all. How does your reasoning work? Oil is a finite resource. Why would we structure our entire way of life around a finite resource when alternatives exist? It’s inevitable even if you disregard the environmental cost. It isn’t logical on any level whatsoever. The only reason I can possibly think of is that there is too much money to be made that we would never just leave it in the ground. We’re destroying our home for the sake of other people getting rich. [/quote]
