So let's say I choose to remain unvaccinated? I have not caught Covid so far (well maybe back when Pelosi was saying there was no risk back in Feb 2020) and have been all over, shopping, living my life. Even celebrated with family Fourth of July last summer. I'm not a traveller and welcome not having to go see family on the other side of the country - frankly I need a break anyway. Why would I catch Covid now, just because I"m unvaccinated? What makes me more susceptible given the number are much lower?
Np. This has me stumped, too. When covid was blowing up, we were told we didn't need masks. 10% of covid positives in my state are in my county and 10% of cases in my county are in my zip code. I live(d) in the freaking hot zone. My area has a high vaccination percentage. Between the vaccinated and those immune due to sickness, I think my chances of getting covid are smaller than ever.
Well well well. Look at you calculating how those protected vaccinated people in your zip code suppressimg transmission and helping you. So you do understand the value of vaccination after all you hypocrite. You probably are vaccinated in secret just like don and mel but in public you are all like covid is nothing.
Lol, wut? I don't discuss my medical information with neighbors. The few people I see (outdoors, masked) know my status. I do see the value in vaccination, I'm just not quite ready to get it yet. Not a "Trumper", not "anti vax", simply want to give it more time and am able to conduct my business safely.
Until you can't. Eventually you will need a mammogram, a doctor's visit, the dentist etc. Everyone else will have gone back to life as normal, and covid will seek the low lying (unvaccinated) fruit.
NP. I can barely take these ridiculous threads, so haven’t read through entirely, but I see people are now threatening with covid as if it’s a nuclear missile. In the last 6 weeks, I have quite literally been to no less than 30 appts - mammogram dentists (I have four kids so I have actually been to 5 of these), many orthodontists appts, GP, pediatrician (x4 for well checks), dermatologist, OBGYN, orthropedist a few times, tons of PT appt bc three out of my 6 family members are injured, an MRI, speech therapy, ..... actually just writing this is eye opening to how crazy it’s been .... and I take the proper precautions, wash hands (as I’ve always done before covid) - haven’t gotten covid yet. That doesn’t count my hair appt, waxing appt, Facialist. And no one has asked me once if I am vaccinated. I’m planning to get vaccinated, just have been trying to decide on which one as I do have a past medical issue that gave my Dr pause. I just got my kids vaccinated at their well checks for whichever ones they were due for. So pls do not name call me an anti vaxxer.
