[/quote] For the purposes of the trial, since this will be a key aspect of use of force that the jury will have to deliberate on, it was clarified by prosecution witnesses these maneuvers are used when cuffing an individual or dealing with an uncuffed individual one on one where disparities occur. These factors are not present when Chauvin restrained Floyd (who was already cuffed when Chauvin arrived on scene) with two other officers and a third present. The defense will probably call other use of force witnesses when they present their case, who might frame things differently. [/quote]
