He’s moved on to a place in Alabama. Relatively small place that is high fenced for high priced canned hunts for genetically modified deer with big antlers. I can tell you that making a living as a ranch manager is a tough proposition. If you’ve grown up in it, have family land etc, perhaps but to try to make a really good living from it coming from the outside, I’m not so sure. It’s something you really have to love and realize that there generally aren’t big bucks in this type of work for 99% of the folks. Some yes, but I don’t see it for him long term. I see a state wildlife job or federal fish and game as a career path. Trying to make it as a guide is great work, just doesn’t seem very lucrative long term. Just my opinion.  [/quote]
