Think we may need to understand the definition of the word poach a little more.  What NL, DCE, BLC, Madlax or all the clubs do is not poaching.  Clubs want the best players, they offer spots to those players.  There is no law or regulation that says offers for club spots need to happen after "official" tryout dates.  Clubs change rosters and kids move teams fairly regularly.  Clubs want the best players and kids want the best opportunity to win and be seen at the best tournaments.  From a club perspective if you do not have the top team in a given grade you likely will be trying to improve your roster.  From a kids point of view you are going to move to be on the best team possible where you get decent field time.  This is really not that hard to understand.  Right or wrong club lacrosse is not a developmental system, there is no loyalty given by the clubs nor should their be an expectation of loyalty from the players to the clubs.     [/quote]
