Speaking of Orlando, did/do school districts in Florida get money beyond pittances for unaccompanied minors released to sponsors?  Florida got 95.8 million for the post hurricane surge from Puerto Rico.  Older students had the opportunity to finish HS based on PR requirements or US.  Fairfax County has received about 5000 UAM from ORR post DACA since Oct 2013.

The post DACA ORR UAM surge produced different responses from school districts around the USA and Fairfax County - FCPS - always makes the over 50 per county release list.  Note California and NY have school districts that make the lack of opportunity list. Underfunding our local costs for a federal based "surge"  started post DACA.  2014 from NBC CA local station  https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/School-Districts-Brace-for-Unaccompanied-Minors-From-Central-America-Find-Funding-to-Pay-for-Help-271073271.html   FCPS gets $175 per UAM released by ORR annually.

That's an identifiable  surge not from new housing or move in/move out residential real estate. Have any senators or house of reps from VA attempted to get funding?
