Either your “kid” should have known better, or YOU should not have let your kid be unsupervised for even a single second, should have been keeping very close tabs whenever they were out of sight, warned everyone that they were capable of rape or worse, keeping a VERY short leash on what you’re claiming is essentially a pit bull who just can’t help himself but hurt whoever he wants without the benefit of rational thought. You claim your teenager is just like a dog who doesn’t know better, then you need to keep him well under your control, under lock and key until you claim he is finally responsible and can be let loose in society. And no, it’s not society’s job to do that. Most teenagers are NOT rapists and don’t need to be treated like ctiminals who apparently are capable of that.

But you can’t have it both ways. You can’t be a total failure of a parent, produce criminals, argue that a slap on the wrist and a few years playing around with some other bad kids in juvie is enough of a punishment. If they aren’t responsible, you are.[/quote]
