Interestingly the Arabs supported the Christian Roman Empire against the then Persian empire due to Christianity being more similar to them religious wise and the Jews supported the Persians.

The Middle East has so much fascinating drama. Because it’s the crossroads to Europe and Asia, it’s always had drama and the history of Jewish and Arab and Persian life there is like one big soap opera that keeps getting renewed with more episodes [/quote]
