If the 2021’s at Bullis get tired of being blamed for all the stuff w the coach and want to come play with their boys down River Rd, we will take them! We can use them right away! No drama here as we already did our coaching change. Let’s go boys!
And what year are you at Landon? Because if you aren't a student then you are an idiot. If any school takes in a late summer transfer skirting the admission policy and benches or cuts players for transfers, the school will get crushed by the current families of the school. Now go back to playing Fortnite.
You’re correct. Doesn’t make sense to bring over those 2021’s this late in Summer. Probably just one of the DCE teammates messing around. Nobody should take anything too serious on these message boards as it’s just HS sports. That go’s for my take below, as well! And yes, I realize I am coming strictly from the lacrosse pov. Having ref’d and observed lacrosse in the area for over 15 years (high school, club, rec), the 2 best/most talented club teams I have seen in the DC area are the 19 Madlax and 21 DCE teams. And it’s not close as both are right at top for their age on the national club scene and win or come close to winning all the big summer tournaments. Bullis got really good when they loaded up with talented 2019 Madlax kids the past few years and results speak for themselves. I think only 1 of the 2021 DCE kids got serious playing time as a freshman this past Spring at Bullis, but the majority all got time in games I had as well as IAC Championship (didn’t ref it, but went to watch). Make no mistake, that 21 DCE team is very, very talented, no matter where they currently go to HS or who runs the Club. Using Madlax 2019/Bullis result as a lesson, one could predict who will be at the top of the IAC in the next few years. If I’m right, just look who has the most 21 DCE kids as talent wins. As we sit here today, it’s Landon far and away. If any of the Bullis/ DCE kids move over to Landon and join their fellow DCE teammates, then book Landon with IAC Championships for 2020 and 2021 for sure. They will have too much top talent consolidated on one HS team, no matter how good the coaching is at the other schools. Jeff is a heckuva coach who loves to win and has been around so long, I’m sure he knows this. Will be interesting to watch how he handles it, but my guess is he will work to put it all back together, so those DCE kids will all stay and he can build around them for the future. The IAC is much more fun to be around when Bullis, Landon and Prep are all really good.
