Um, you know what else wasn't real? Blake's (Ryan's) allegations. It was BS intended to make them money at the expense of the truth and reputation of the actual director. And their arse kissing hangers on gleefully participated.
Every one of her allegations was truthful. It was deemed not to be SH (or she was deemed an independent contractor who can't bring SH claims) but they were all real allegations. And the judge explicitly said that it was reasonable for her to have believed she was sexually harassed when these things happened. Baldoni is a bad director who no one liked and even his friends and business partners know to be immature and hard to work with. He ruined his own reputation. If he wanted to maintain a good reputation in Hollywood, he should perhaps not have asked is lead actress's trainer about her weight, kept bringing up his porn addiction on set, kept talking to Blake about her dead father, and kept offending actresses on set by calling them hot, saying he must have "missed the HR meeting", or saying he could talk like this because his wife was there. He also jut ran a disorganized and unprofessional set that many people complained about. Blake and Ryan didn't do any of that. I don't even like Blake and Ryan but Baldoni ruined his own rep by sucking at his job. How about make this adult man take responsibility for his own behavior instead of blaming it all on multiple women, his "neurodiversity", or Ryan Reynolds. I mean, grow up.
I don’t understand lying about Justin‘s track record. He had directed another low budget film with a budget of 6 million and it made 60 million. Very few directors in Hollywood would have that kind of success these days. He was the one who had the brains to adapt Colleen’s book before anyone else saw the value and made a killing off that. I know it’s an inconvenient truth, but he actually has talent. And he’s going to go on to develop direct and produce more movies, which is more than Blake can say.
