I thought Jules anger and confrontation of Bethany was bizarre and misplaced. As Carole said, she was the one who was talking and had shared/was more of a friend to Jules yet still talked about her. You could see Bethany's wheels turning like "what is she TALKING about? Best to just let her talk/ventilate because she is going through some STUFF". I could just imagine her oversharing her marriage stuff, then getting all weird and paranoid that Bethany would care enough to talk about it. She's going through her own shit, look at her face. She doesn't have the energy to care about you enough to talk about you, Jules! It doesn't exactly arm your "my past anorexia isn't a problem'" argument to be all "yeah, I barfed three days ago- I'm owning this and I'm fine...." jeebers... Jules reminds me of a Jerry Springer guest from back in the day "yeah I cheated on you, but this is YOUR BABY!!"
Let's not forget that the camera doesn't catch everything, though what it has captured of Bethenny and Carole has been pretty atrocious when it comes to Jules. They didn't even try to hid their disdain for Jules - while they were guests in her house - so you know there were plenty of other comments made out loud, meant to hurt feelings, that they made toward Jules. That anger wasn't coming out of nowhere. I think Bethenny directed residual bitterness from her relationship with her mother to Jules. She needs a team of highly qualified therapists on retainer. But then, she wouldn't be on this show if she had that much sense. Good thing those Skinny Girl margarita's are so tasty. Not.
True but I also think this is also how many people feel about women with eating disorders. The behavior is extremely narcissistic and it's frankly boring. The older I get the less patience I have for someone who willingly chooses to not eat or barf. You can look at jule's life and as how privledged she is and that she needs something to occupy herself with. She seems extremely focused on herself and needs to volunteer.
Okay, you don't see the irony in your posting about another woman's disorder?
