Live nearby?  It’s Tyson’s…nobody lives nearby.  Even if you did, you are fine with a casino that exists just around 10 miles away and couldn’t care less if one was built another 10 miles away.

So, I say again…who gives a shit if there is a casino in Tyson’s.  They are everywhere now.  What exactly is your concern about it…be specific…because I have read numerous people talking about protecting “the children”.

The people who live there don't want one!! How difficult is this to understand? Any state laws that threaten local control over zoning is a threat to everyone. Right now it is Fairfax county, but special interest groups will use their donations in Richmond to push through something that will ruin your community next. This is like a 90/10 issue in Fairfax and one ultra wealthy person should not be able dictate what happens in a county against the will of the local residents who actually live there. [/quote]
