Dump loves a show and big, strong, square-jawed war-fighters. So imagine my surprise when the flag was presented by a small, frail-looking ginger who was about a foot shorter than the Orange in chief.

I was also surprised the stands were empty. You'd think that the organizers would be able to fill those, at least.

The squeaky little tank was supposed to represent WWII - they had people dressed in period uniforms and showed equipment from various eras.  Though I'm sure a lot of the people who intended in person already had a sense of some of this, who among them hadn't watched things like "Saving Private Ryan" or "Fury" or "Band of Brothers?"[/quote]
