Yes, but she gave it right back to him, which I was glad to see - and he apologized and acknowledged he was completely wrong.

“I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this,” Swift wrote to Albarn. “I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging. You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really f****d up to try and discredit my writing. WOW.”

Writing an apology on Twitter shortly afterward, [b]Albarn said: “I totally agree with you.[/b] I had a conversation about songwriting and sadly it was reduced to clickbait,” adding, “The last thing I would want to do is discredit your songwriting. I hope you understand.”

Albarn wrote back to Taylor Swift that he AGREED WITH HER that she wrote her own songs? Well, well, how nice of the big man to "agree with" Taylor that she is indeed a songwriter.
