Every SEAS student I knew had taken 4 yrs of a modern foreign language - except for one kid from SW VA coal country. His HS only offered 3 years of French. Is i4 yrs MFL an absolute requirement? Maybe not, but it certainly is very very common for matriculated SEAS undergrads. [/quote]
