My kid got letters from Harvard and Yale a mere few weeks after his ACT that stated “your scores make us think you’d be a good fit here”” to that extent. Schools purchase the data from college board. They can set the criteria—all kids 35 and above ACT or 36s in verbal and reading, etc.[/quote]
