What a terrible thing to say. [/quote] Do you prefer traumatized? In my experience , growing up in a dysfunctional family (think addiction or abuse), does damage children. It leaves its mark. Read up on ACES if you are unfamiliar with this fact. Someone who is in her 60!s and never been treated kindly by a man? Who describes herself as having had no parents, basically. Would that really be your first choice person to bring into a happy, well adjusted family? (If that is what he has) I am not blaming them.
