The gofundme is in such poor taste - it’s one of the worst I’ve seen and that’s saying something. The “goal” is completely obscene. $100-200k for funerals and leave from work would have been fine. 5-10x of that is a disgusting money grab. The man has no shame.

This - there is something sick and twisted about this go fund me.  I remember someone put up a go fund me for an Arlington Mom who got hit by a car and the surviving husband had it taken down.  And he had living children to raise.  [/quote]
I agree but the husband is probably so distraught and not thinking clearly himself. He probably feels psychotic himself. Someone else, a[b] family member or friend may be managing the Gofundme. [/b]He’s probably not even aware of it, at least it should be the last thing on his mind at this time. And I doubt he even wrote that statement about his wife and children.[/quote]

Yes, someone else is managing it, but I'm sure Pat knows about it?  There is even an update from a few days ago, that presumably was published with Pat's consen.[/quote]
