I'm not proud, but for a period of time, I was a John Edwards fan. As the evidence mounted that he was a shitty human, I stopped. I moved on and supported other politicians who weren't quite as terrible. It wasn't psychically crushing or anything. The cognitive dissonance it must take to keep telling yourself "Trump is good, actually" must be really uncomfortable. [/quote]
