Because Twitter was censoring conservative content due to rules it was not applying to liberal content (Hunter laptop vs. p tape for example), this led to apps like Parler and Truth Social, which are going to further radicalize people in isolated echo chambers and turn people even further to the right. For some reason Elon sees this obvious point but some of you are not that astute.[/quote]

Does Musk even identify with one party? Making the Twitter code more or less open source would allow users to see for themselves whether a posting is from a bot or not. Wouldn’t discussions be more democratic if the people have open info and decide for themselves rather than someone (or an AI) deciding what is good or bad. Some “good” actions have unintended consequences. A lot of censoring right now seems like it has the same effect as trying to keep a lid on a boiling pot. [/quote]
