After seeing tryouts and talking with friends, it's no longer a suspicion that the girls program means nothing to SYC.  Nearly the entirety of the girls coaching staff is no longer coaching their teams.  I have yet to hear a replacement technical director for the girls program, not the the SYC technical director ever made an appearance.  The ECNL program has ONE of our coaches in ONE age group, the boys have THREE coaches in FIVE age groups.  To my understanding, fewer than 11 of our girls were given an ECNL offer across all the age groups (which is why I didn't list ECNL in the league participation).  Our girls' FIRST team plays in CCL, our boys' THIRD team plays in CCL--CCL of course becoming more and more irrelevant as a recruiting platform with Beach FC, Arlington, Loudoun, Fredericksburg, Skyline, Legacy having all left this year.[/quote]
