There are definitely racist Asian families in NoVa. We had Indian neighbors who told us point blank they wouldn't send their kids to our neighborhood high school, which our kids were attending at the time, because they didn't like "the look" of the kids (who happened to be mostly black and Hispanic) walking to the school in the morning. Their son got into TJ; when their daughter didn't get in, they sent her to private instead. I have no idea why a county that supposedly cares about equity and "One Fairfax" would cater to such people. It is simply appalling.
How appalling! How dare they spend their hard-earned money on their child's education! Get a life dude.. Rich people and UMC send their kids to Private schools ALL the time. Why do you think that is? They don't like the "look" of your kids either and don't want their kids rubbing shoulders with them. How come none of you morons are complaining about that? I'm assuming you don't live in a "hot" neighborhood based on the description of your High school district so the "Indians" who lived next door are likely middle class or whatever class you belong to. If they saved enough to be able to send their kid to a private, shouldn't you be appreciating that? Shouldn't you be following their lead in terms of prioritizing education? I bet you are only complaining because they are Indian. If this trend continues, the next thing people like you will want is for everyone to get permission from you before they spend their hard-earned money. Welcome to Russia!
