Why can't you provide links? I was able to trace the first quote you provided to the Jewish Virtual Library. At the bottom of that page, it credited Wikipedia as its source. I went to Wikipedia and say that the fact that Soros had made the statement "wryly" was left out. Therefore, what the Jewish Virtual Library, and subsequently you, had reported as a serious remark was actually a joke. I am not ashamed of the Jewish Virtual Library, but you should be. I thought that you were opposed to spreading lies about Jews?

Regarding your second quote, when I Googled it, it came up on a few crazy sites including Glenn Beck's. One of the sites sourced it to a Harper's interview, but I couldn't find it on Harper's website. You now say it was from 60 Minutes via the Financial Times. Could you provide a link? I've seen the 60 Minutes interview and don't remember him saying anything like that. I'll watch it again now.
