Here is my take on the main characters Kathryn- a trainwreck who is so misguided, I feel very sorry for her. She is hurting and thats been obvious for a long time, she thought she could trap Thomas into marriage by having a 2nd child..probably not happening. Hope she gets the help she needs and rehab will mark a new chapter for her. Thomas- LOSER. Cannot stand his pompous, arrogant polo playing self. He needs to get off his high horse and man up. He is not 25 anymore and needs to stop acting like it. The icing on the cake was seeing his kids living in the guest house with nanny, like they are too messy for the main house. Yuck. Craig always liked him. Don't buy into that he is trying to be the southern genteel gentleman, he might like the city and lifestyle but he can stand on his own. I hope he finished law school if thats what he really wants and isn't doing it under pressure. He is a good guy and I admired him most when he befriended Kathryn when she not only needed a friend but when most of the others abandoned her, it shows true character. Shep needs to grow up. He is the worst example of a man/boy. He is so immature and you can see he is intelligent but loves to play the "I dont' need to work, rich kid/slacker" role. Its old and tired like him. He is in my eyes, jealous of Craig...better looking, has a great girlfriend and mostly seems happy. I think Shep is insanely jealous of Craig in fact and that is why he constantly needs to pick, pick, pick. Cameron used to really like her. She is adorable and quite funny/witty BUT has become a mean girl. Cannot stand the way she treats Kathryn and feel she has crossed to the dark side, she can be too condescending for her own good. Those in glass houses should not throw stones, her "tawdry" behavior on her past life might catch up with her. She is not the innocent southern belle she purports to be. Landon sad and annoying. She seems bitter, she is getting up there, not in a relationship and just seems really angry about it. Not to mention looks like she has not found her way, she seems like a lost puppy dog to me. Whitney...ODD. He is such a strange dude, cannot really sum him up but he is just an oddball that kind of seems to be drifting between his moms bank account and a mission to find himself. Patricia love her and her lifestyle..she is so unapologetic and I love it. I do hope and wish that when Kathryn is back and stable they will reconcile...I think that would be a nice gesture on her part. Patricia in my eyes is too old to take the route of a young teenage girl and gossip about what Kathryn is up to..it is very unbecoming. Love the show, but must say found the negative vibes of the first episode a bit disappointing and somewhat overwhelming.
