As an urban dwelling gen Xer, I admit this this true. The only time my friends and I started taking any interest in cooking was when our children stopped breastfeeding and started eating solids. That made it necessary for us to start cooking at home. Before that it was dinner out or get takeout for all of us![/quote]

GenX here, disagree. I love to cook and bake from scratch. In fact, that's pretty much how I attracted DH, lol.  All of my friends cook, too. [/quote]
